Staff Changes
I have just learned that Joe Bevilacqua has been let go from his programming duties as IHeart FM’s program director as part of a restructuring deal for IHeart media. Joe programmed 106.7 KBPI, and 103.5 The Fox in Denver. I really thought that Joe was a good program director. He has been with IHeart media for almost 20 years. Before that he did some programming work in Rhode Island and other places on the east coast. I really enjoyed listening to his interviews with different radio hosts about the music people he has met. Two weeks ago, Joe filled in on the Mandy Connell show while Mandy was taking a vacation. He did a wonderful job. I hope he gets to fill in again. I will miss you Joe. You were a great program director.Brian Hatfield was on KYGO radio for 3 years. His time with the station has just come to an end. Before KYGO, Brian worked for KCYE in Texas radio, and WYCD radio in Detroit Michigan which is where he met the current program director, Eddie Haskell. . I thought he did a decent job on KYGO. There are rumors that Paul Donavan might be taking over afternoons on KYGO radio. Some people might be very happy about that. I will certainly keep you posted.Josh Everett was the program director of 630 KHOW and 760 KDSP for about a year. I may be a little off on my timing, but Josh Everett is moving on to a bigger job as the president of Spoken Word for IHeart Media in Louisville Kentucky. Josh used to live in Kentucky, so it is a home coming for him. There is no word yet on who his replacement would be. Good luck Josh. I will miss you. You did a great job programming 630 KHOW, and 760 KDSP. Thank you for tuning in.Jeremy Levy
